Job Description
Android Software Engineer designing and evolving applications for iFood's customer universe. Collaborating on project-wide coding standards while tackling scalability challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on defining concepts such as project-wide coding style guides
- Build rapid prototypes to validate concepts
- Reinforce quality through code reviews and maintenance practices
- Debug performance issues in applications and CI pipelines
- Integrate with third-party APIs
- Scale components efficiently through tuning and/or refactoring
Requirements:
- Strong sense of ownership, treating each project as if it were your own
- Solid experience building high-performance, scalable applications
- Strong experience with recent versions of Java or Kotlin
- Experience integrating with REST APIs natively using Retrofit
