Job Description
Backend Developer focusing on data and integrations for digital products at Compass UOL. Collaborating with agile teams to improve data pipelines and API integration.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a Backend Developer focused on Data and Integrations;
- Build, maintain and evolve data pipelines that support digital products;
- Develop and optimize large-scale data pipelines using Apache Spark (Python and/or Scala);
- Create and maintain serverless functions on AWS using AWS Lambda;
- Develop APIs and integrations using Node.js;
- Implement observability and monitoring practices for data flows and services using Dynatrace;
- Model, administer and ensure the performance of distributed and relational databases;
- Work collaboratively in an agile environment, participating in team ceremonies and interacting with product and engineering teams;
- Contribute to the quality, scalability and efficiency of digital solutions aimed at Sales Force Management for leaders and business managers.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in Backend development with a focus on data and integrations;
- Solid experience with Dynatrace;
- Experience with large-scale data processing using Apache Spark (Python and/or Scala);
- Experience developing and maintaining serverless functions on AWS (Lambda);
- Knowledge of API development and integrations using Node.js;
- Experience with distributed and relational databases, including ScyllaDB, PostgreSQL and MongoDB;
- Knowledge of observability and system monitoring practices, using Dynatrace;
- Experience working in agile, collaborative environments;
- Ability to work closely with product and engineering teams, with a focus on quality, performance and scalability of solutions.
