Job Description
Senior Backend Engineer building production AI-enabled apps using TypeScript and Convex. Collaborating with frontend and iOS engineers for real product delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain backend services using TypeScript + Convex
- Design clean APIs and data models that power the product
- Deploy and run services on Linux, with strong uptime and reliability
- Work with reverse proxies, networking, and high-availability setups
- Support large iOS apps and integrate Core ML features in Swift
- Use AI tools (LLMs) to move faster while keeping quality high
Requirements:
- Strong backend experience with TypeScript
- Production infrastructure basics: Linux, proxies, networking
- Able to support iOS build workflows + Core ML integration
- Startup mindset: ownership, speed, and teamwork
