Job Description
Senior Refund Analyst processing claims refunds for Allied Benefit Systems. Tracking overpayments, resolving refund appropriateness, and reporting processing errors remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and process all refunds received on claims
- Log and track refunds
- Sort and copy refund paperwork when applicable
- Work with claims department personnel to determine the appropriateness of refunds
- Provide monthly reports regarding processing errors that result in unsolicited refunds
- Track overpayment projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 5 years of claims processing experience
- Preferably experience with the QicLink claims processing system
- Adjustment experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to easily learn other data systems
- Internet connection through cable broadband or fiber optic service provider
- Internet speed of at least 100Mbps download/25Mbps upload
- Ability to work extended periods sitting and performing computer work
