Job Description
Senior Clinical Data Coordinator managing clinical trial data for ICON, a global clinical research organisation. Creating data management plans, resolving discrepancies, and mentoring junior coordinators.
Responsibilities:
- Design and analyse clinical trials, interpreting complex medical data
- Lead clinical research tasks requiring technical depth, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
- Create and maintain detailed data management plans and documentation in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies and issues to streamline data flow and enhance data quality throughout the study lifecycle
- Collaborate with clinical operations, biostatistics, and other cross-functional teams to develop and execute study-specific data management strategies
- Perform project activities such as filing and archiving study documentation and dispatching queries to investigator sites
- Mentor junior data coordinators on data reconciliation, coding, and cleaning procedures
- Perform other project activities as required to meet study timelines
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Life Sciences or Healthcare
- Proven experience in clinical data management within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- Familiarity with data management software and systems, such as Medidata, Oracle RDC, or similar
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel as required, approximately 5%
- Legal right to work in Mexico, the country where the role is based
