Job Description
Senior Data Engineer designing and building cloud-based applications for clinical and operational healthcare processes. Mentoring junior engineers while fostering collaboration and meticulous documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Designs and builds modern data-centric software applications to support clinical and operational processes across all parts of the healthcare system
- Leverages cloud computing, big data, data science, and modern software development methodologies and frameworks
- Builds data pipelines and transformations, data enrichment processes, provisioning layers, and user interfaces to meet the requirements of key initiatives
- Mentors and assists less experienced Data Engineers and participates in research and development of new technologies
- Encourages and places a priority on collaboration with meticulous source control and documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent educ/experience
- 5 years of related experience; 5-8 years preferred
- Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent educ/experience (preferred)
- 8 years of Data development experience (preferred)
