Job Description
Senior Data Engineer optimizing data pipeline architecture at Tivity Health. Collaborating with various teams to support data needs and improve data systems and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture
- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet business requirements
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements
- Build infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from data sources
- Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues
- Keep data separated and secure across national boundaries
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role
- Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases
- Experience with ELT/ETL strategies including creating complex ETL packages using SSIS
- Basic understanding of Star and Snowflake Schemas
- Strong experience with dimensional modeling and reporting tools
- Experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ pipelines and architectures
- Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
- Working knowledge of message queuing and stream processing
- Project management and organizational skills
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams
