Job Description
Senior Data Platform Engineer bei JobRad Loop, Aufbau einer Snowflake-Datenplattform und neuer BI-Landschaft. Integration von JobRad-Leasingdaten, stabilen Pipelines und fachlicher Teamführung.
Responsibilities:
- Help shape architectural decisions and establish standards
- Play a strategic role in the continued development of the data platform
- Build a new data lake
- Develop Snowflake into the data foundation for the entire company
- Build a new BI landscape using data from all areas of the company
- Integrate data from the sister company JobRad Leasing
- Establish the foundations for forecasting
- Build automated, high-performance, and stable data pipelines with CI/CD
- Provide technical coaching to the team
- Collaborate with executive management, department heads, and business units as an equal partner
- Further develop the department into a role model for the entire JobRad® Group
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of hands-on production experience with Snowflake
- Knowledge of Snowflake performance optimization, cost optimization, and best practices
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines, e.g. with dbt, Airflow, or Talend
- Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
- Knowledge of data warehouses, data lakes, and data modeling
- Experience with at least one cloud platform; AWS is an advantage, and an interest in Azure is welcome
- Independent working style, initiative, and willingness to establish standards
- Confident communication with stakeholders up to executive-management level
- Experience or willingness to provide technical coaching to colleagues and take on technical responsibility
- Advanced German language skills at B2/C1/C2 level
- Good English skills
- Based in Germany
