Job Description

Senior Director leading global talent management at Cielo, the world’s leading Talent Acquisition Partner. Driving leadership capability, succession, DEIB, engagement, and workforce strategy across regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strategic enterprise partnerships with senior leaders to understand priorities, workforce challenges, and talent needs
  • Advise senior leadership on people impacts, organizational risks, and implementation approaches
  • Lead global talent metrics, analytics, and insight generation, translating data into actionable recommendations
  • Provide strategic direction, governance, and escalation guidance to Talent Management and People & Culture partners
  • Anticipate capability gaps, support resourcing decisions, and shape talent pipelines
  • Oversee performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, retention strategies, and employee experience programs
  • Lead enterprise surveys and feedback mechanisms, translating insights into measurable improvements
  • Oversee internal communications for talent programs, organizational changes, and people initiatives
  • Shape leadership and employee development offerings and coach senior leadership teams
  • Mentor global Talent Management professionals and support future People & Culture leadership talent
  • Provide strategic guidance on complex employee relations matters and ensure alignment with policy and legal standards
  • Monitor organizational health indicators and modernize policies and talent programs for compliance and consistency
  • Partner with Legal on global regulatory changes and policy updates
  • Serve as a global DEIB ambassador and embed inclusion, equity, and belonging across talent programs
  • Lead change management, organizational design, and transformation efforts
  • Assess compensation, rewards, and recognition practices and advise on compensation and engagement drivers
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a global Talent Management team
  • Serve on the People & Culture leadership team and represent Talent Management in senior leadership forums
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding strategies and partner with Payroll and HR Operations on employee lifecycle operations
  • Analyze workforce data, ensure compliance, and drive operational excellence
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • 8–10 years of HR experience
  • Prior experience as an HR generalist
  • Proficiency in business partnering
  • Experience with global employment best practices
  • Experience managing an HR team
  • Experience in change management
  • Experience driving employee engagement
  • Experience managing employee relations cases
  • Proven experience building strong relationships with senior-level stakeholders
  • Relationship-building, influencing, and collaboration skills
  • Comfort with ambiguity
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Coaching and feedback skills
  • Problem-solving and practical solution implementation
  • Understanding of organizational culture and how to influence it
