Job Description
Senior Engineer focused on backend and full-stack platform development at Cadence. Shipping software solutions with autonomy and high trust in a remote-first environment.
Responsibilities:
- Own features end-to-end — from idea to production
- Write clean, scalable, maintainable code
- Identify and fix performance and reliability bottlenecks
- Work closely with product and ops to ship pragmatically, not perfectly
Requirements:
- 8-10+ years of hands-on engineering experience
- Strong depth in Python/Go and TypeScript/JS
- Experience building and scaling production systems
- Sharp problem-solving skills — frameworks are tools, not the point
- Clear communicator, low ego, high ownership
- Able to juggle priorities without hand-holding
- Nice to Have: Experience with AWS, infra, or performance optimisation | Strong opinions on system design (and the ability to defend them) | Side projects or open-source work you’re proud of
