Job Description
Senior Engineer Manager leading a high-performing engineering team and driving project execution. Focus on coaching and development while balancing business priorities and team productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a high-performing team of engineers to deliver high-impact features
- Focus on people management, team development, and strategic execution
- Drive execution on projects supporting goals and navigate organizational change
- Foster a culture of ownership, excellence, and psychological safety
- Set priorities, goals, and key metrics for your team
- Build and develop a diverse, high-performing team through hiring and coaching
- Identify and address technical risks, system bottlenecks, and process inefficiencies
- Champion engineering best practices and operational excellence
Requirements:
- 10+ years of related experience
- US Citizenship required
- Strong people management skills including coaching, performance management, and conflict resolution
- Experience managing mixed workforce models (employees, contractors)
- Familiarity with distributed systems and microservices
- Proven ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity
- Experience setting technical direction and making architectural tradeoffs
