Job Description
Senior Java Developer in Financial Services working on an international project for a global client. Collaborating with high-performance multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and evolve scalable, resilient Java applications
- Translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional, globally distributed teams
- Ensure application of development best practices and code quality
- Perform code reviews and support the development of less experienced professionals
- Participate in incident resolution and performance optimization
- Take part in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Stay up to date with new technologies and market trends
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields
- Advanced English (C2)
- Extensive experience in Java web development
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring and Hibernate
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and microservices architecture
- Solid knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, MySQL) and SQL
- Experience developing enterprise applications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with code review and technical mentoring
- Nice-to-haves: Experience in financial services, particularly Wealth & Asset Management; Familiarity with GenAI
