Job Description
Senior Medical Science Liaison supporting Telix Pharmaceuticals’ targeted-radiation products for cancer and rare diseases. Building KOL relationships, advancing Medical Affairs strategy, and supporting clinical trial activities across the Northeast U.S.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the field-based clinical and medical expert for medical and scientific exchange related to Telix products, research areas, and disease states
- Develop and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with oncology, urology, radiology, nuclear medicine, and other relevant medical experts
- Communicate and advance Telix’s scientific platform in alignment with Medical Affairs and medical communications strategies
- Identify and forge relationships with national, regional, and local key opinion leaders
- Align and execute field activities supporting the Medical Affairs strategic plan
- Identify and communicate research gaps, opportunities, and field intelligence to inform medical strategy
- Accelerate recruitment and enhance subject retention at targeted clinical trial sites
- Represent Medical Affairs at medical and scientific meetings and capture strategically relevant information
- Facilitate Medical Education grant and Investigator-Initiated Research submissions
- Support commercial, marketing, clinical operations, and other cross-functional colleagues
- Participate in team meetings, organizational activities, advisory boards, publication planning, investigator meetings, and HQ-driven Medical Affairs and clinical research activities
- Lead project work assigned by Medical Affairs leadership or organizational priorities
- Ensure MSL activities comply with pharmaceutical regulations, Telix policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards
Requirements:
- Candidates must reside in NY, NJ, CT, MA, NH, RI, MN, or VT
- Advanced scientific, healthcare, or medical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, RN) required
- 5+ years of MSL experience
- Experience in radiopharmaceuticals in prostate cancer is an advantage
- Thorough understanding of policies guiding the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience interpreting scientific data and using market research and competitive intelligence tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven track record of delivering results meeting or exceeding targeted objectives
- Ability to build productive collaborations with medical experts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong multitasking, time management, organization, interpersonal, business acumen, and emotional intelligence skills
- Detailed knowledge of regulations and practices governing industry interactions with healthcare professionals
- Ability to take initiative and work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to quickly understand complex disease areas, treatments, clinical development plans, healthcare landscapes, hospitals, healthcare professionals, and patient journeys
- Valid driver’s license
