Job Description

Senior Mobility Specialist and Germany-licensed immigration lawyer supporting Remote’s global employment platform. Advising clients on immigration compliance, travel, sponsorship, and visa/work permit cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor assigned cases through effective utilization of case management and billing systems
  • Provide guidance for specific travel needs, counsel on the immigration process, and serve as a point of contact for business travel and sponsorship cases
  • Provide legal and strategic guidance on service delivery of immigration compliance to clients
  • Take ownership of senior-level escalations to support Mobility Specialists
  • Assist leadership in managing large projects
  • Monitor the Mobility dashboard, communication and help channels to ensure SLA response times and accurate status reporting
  • Establish and control in-house immigration services to increase revenue generation and efficiency and improve customer satisfaction
  • Analyze, prepare and submit visa/work permit applications
  • Mentor and support Mobility Specialists and Coordinators
  • Contribute to training documentation for new service offerings and support training rollouts for process changes
  • Establish, maintain, and strengthen internal and external relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain and monitor immigration law and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory changes
  • Apply immigration knowledge to provide solution-based responses on complex client cases
  • Report to the Manager, Mobility within the Mobility team

Requirements:

  • Immigration lawyer licensed to practice in Germany
  • Extensive experience in immigration compliance, global mobility, or similar immigration roles
  • In-depth understanding of immigration and typical immigration compliance processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Previous experience in the tech industry or a hyper-growth and scaling environment is ideal
  • Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus
  • Experience working remotely is a plus
  • Strong automation and AI capabilities and AI fluency
