Job Description

Senior PLSQL Developer implementing and optimizing data processes for Usiminas. Join a leading industrial company focusing on sustainability and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Development, maintenance, and support of applications related to Usiminas;
  • Implementation and optimization of data load and transformation processes;
  • Creation of queries to support reports and analytical dashboards to aid decision-making;
  • Analysis and resolution of performance issues in queries and database processes.

Requirements:

  • SQL Server: Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS);
  • Advanced T-SQL: Proficiency in creating and optimizing complex queries (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE) and working with views, stored procedures, and triggers;
  • Procedures and Functions: Development and maintenance of stored procedures, scalar functions, and table-valued functions;
  • ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Advanced experience in ETL processes, including data integration and transformation;
  • Data Import/Export: Handling files in CSV, XLS, TXT and other common formats;
  • Data Modeling and Data Warehouse (DW): Knowledge of dimensional modeling (Star Schema and Snowflake Schema) and DW architecture;
  • Performance Tuning: Experience in database tuning, indexing, partitioning, and query execution plan optimization;
  • BI (Business Intelligence): Practical and conceptual knowledge of BI systems and their architecture.
