Job Description
Senior Project Manager delivering enterprise scientific SaaS implementations for Dotmatics, a digital science software company. Leading agile projects, stakeholders, risks, budgets, and customer adoption.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, plan and manage challenging customer implementation projects using agile and hybrid-agile approaches
- Lead full-cycle delivery for complex enterprise SaaS software
- Manage large technical and digital transformation programmes
- Define project objectives and identify requirements, barriers, cost, time, scope and resource needs
- Lead customer and team issue resolution and proactively identify project or business problems
- Communicate changes and take accountability for project success across equipment, business processes, vendor management, technical implementation, deployment and training
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulatory requirements and contractual agreements; coordinate system improvements
- Provide leadership to intra- and inter-company team leads and project staff
- Collaborate with Services Consultants, Developers, Product Management, Leadership, Legal, Sales and Customer Operations
- Prepare and present internal and external executive briefings with recommendations
- Manage capital and expense expenditures and partner with Finance on accurate service invoicing
- Create proposals and estimates for Service Delivery projects with Sales and Pre-Sales
- Organize and facilitate Scrum events
- Manage stakeholders, globally dispersed teams and organizational change
- Ensure project quality, schedule, financial goals and company OKRs
- Manage risks, develop contingency plans and lead broad-impact issue resolution
- Continuously improve delivery processes and team performance
- Manage multi-million-dollar programme expenditures and contracts
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in SaaS enterprise implementation/delivery projects
- Project Management Certification such as PMP
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or equivalent
- Experience setting up agile project deliveries
- Experience managing SaaS configuration projects throughout their life cycle
- Background in chemistry, biology or life sciences
