Job Description
Senior QA Engineer ensuring end-to-end quality for iVerify’s mobile threat-hunting platform across web, APIs, apps, and data pipelines. Testing secure iOS and Android releases.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of end-to-end product quality across the web portal, APIs, mobile applications, and data pipelines
- Design and execute comprehensive manual test plans for web applications, REST APIs, iOS and Android mobile apps, and backend services
- Verify the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of data flowing through ETL pipelines and integrations
- Conduct exploratory and regression testing to identify edge cases, uncover bugs, and catch regressions early
- Create, maintain, and organize detailed test cases, test data, and defect reports
- Collaborate with Mobile, Platform, research, engineering, and product teams to ensure consistent quality standards
- Test RESTful API endpoints, responses, and integration logic using Postman or Insomnia
- Triage defects with developers and product managers, reproduce customer-reported issues, and ensure fast resolution
- Act as the final quality gate before release across complex enterprise environments
Requirements:
- 6+ years of QA/Engineering experience, including at least 3+ in a senior or lead QA role
- Strong background in manual testing across web, API, and mobile applications—both iOS and Android
- Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, Insomnia, or curl
- Understanding of data pipelines, ETL validation, and structured data (JSON, CSV, SQL)
- Familiarity with SQL for querying databases and validating backend data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in documenting defects and test coverage
- Ability to prioritize multiple programs and QA scope for large releases in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
