Job Description
QA Analyst developing and implementing automated testing for dialogue flows in chatbot and virtual assistant projects. Collaborating within agile squads in tech company focused on data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Map business needs by analyzing conversational flows in the bot and from prioritized requests, proposing improvements and validations aligned with the products;
- Perform medium- and high-complexity integrated and functional tests to validate automated customer service flows via WhatsApp Web, WhatsApp, and other digital channels;
- Automate end-to-end tests, focusing on WhatsApp interactions, using tools such as Cypress, Appium, Botium, or similar, ensuring test coverage of key conversational flows;
- Participate in release validation and sign-off, ensuring new implementations do not affect existing functionality and that flows comply with business requirements;
- Clearly document test scenarios, results, and any inconsistencies, supporting the team with actionable feedback and contributing to continuous product improvement;
- Collaborate with developers to review technical documentation and ensure stakeholders understand the delivered outcomes;
- Propose, implement, and maintain the squad's software quality plan, serving as a reference for quality assurance processes and best practices in automated and manual testing;
- Act as the quality guardian within the squad, fostering a testing culture from the start of the development cycle.
Requirements:
- Experience in QA, working with functional, integrated, and automated testing;
- Hands-on experience with chatbot or virtual assistant projects, e.g., IBM Watson Assistant, Typebot, Google Dialogflow, Microsoft Bot Framework;
- Experience with test automation for digital channels, especially WhatsApp (via WhatsApp Business API, Twilio, or WhatsApp Web);
- Active participation in agile squads using Scrum/Kanban methodologies;
- Experience with E2E testing and continuous integration in CI/CD pipelines.
