Job Description

Quality Assurance Engineer at MDLBEAST ensuring high-quality software delivery for a ticketing platform. Involves testing strategies across music festival products with a focus on various testing methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases that cover core functionality, edge cases, and potential failure scenarios.
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Execute end-to-end (E2E) testing to validate complete user workflows and system integration.
  • Create and run API tests to ensure backend services meet specifications and performance requirements.
  • Conduct load testing to verify system performance under various conditions.
  • Collaborate with developers to investigate and document bugs.
  • Participate in sprint planning to provide QA perspective early.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong programming skills and experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Proficiency in writing and executing API tests (Postman, JMeter, Blazemeter).
  • Experience with load testing tools and performance analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and systematic approach to testing.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Nice to have: Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with mobile application testing.
  • QA experience with microservices architecture backend and multiple frontend applications.
