Job Description
Senior Tax Accountant leading EMEA tax provision, compliance, and audits for Hims & Hers’ personalized healthcare platform. Partnering with U.S. tax, finance, legal, and external advisory teams.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the tax lead for Hims & Hers' EMEA region
- Manage quarterly and annual tax provisions for EMEA entities under U.S. GAAP and local statutory standards
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of corporate income tax and indirect tax filings across multiple EMEA jurisdictions
- Assist with withholding taxes and tax registrations
- Support and manage tax audits, enquiries, and correspondence with local tax authorities
- Partner with the U.S. tax team, corporate legal, and accounting teams on entity restructuring, transfer pricing documentation, and permanent establishment risks analysis
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments across the region and assess business impact
- Develop and implement tax-efficient structures for new business and existing EMEA operations
- Communicate status and issues to the Senior Manager, International Tax in the U.S.
- Perform EMEA tax research and work with external advisers to support business initiatives
- Maintain tax compliance calendars and documentation for robust control and risk management
- Develop tax staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing training, and maintaining employee relationships
- Work closely with external advisors and local finance/accounting teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or tax required
- At least 5 years’ experience in corporate tax gained within a multinational organisation or Big 4/public accounting environment
- Strong technical knowledge of EMEA direct and indirect tax rules, reporting obligations and tax accounting standards
- Familiarity with transfer pricing principles and international tax frameworks, including BEPS and Pillar Two
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to partner effectively with the U.S.-based tax team across time zones
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing environment
- Professional qualification in Tax, Accounting, or Finance, such as ACA or ACCA, preferred
- Experience with US GAAP tax provision preparation and review (ASC 740) preferred
