Job Description
Territory Manager growing Edwards’ transcatheter heart valve business across Queensland, Australia. Building clinical customer relationships, closing new opportunities, and achieving regional sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact within the business unit for the assigned territory and/or customer base
- Apply understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to Edwards medical products
- Build and manage strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and other influencers
- Expand the network in the assigned region and strengthen Edwards' market positioning
- Influence buying decisions with new and existing customers using creativity, tact and diplomacy
- Develop and close new business opportunities
- Identify areas of improvement to meet sales targets
- Develop and execute the annual plan to achieve regional objectives
- Perform other incidental duties
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- 5+ years of previous related medical device and/or clinical experience
- Full knowledge of the strengths and limitations of own products and competitor products
- Deeper understanding of own business, medical devices industry and selling environment of own region
- Full knowledge of customer organizations and how market environment impacts customers
- Full understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and/or cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to EW medical products
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
- Strict attention to detail
- Understands customer needs, feedback and objections and explains products to influence customer perception of value
- Utilizes creativity and influencing skills with new or existing customers on buying decisions using tact and diplomacy
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements, including pandemic protocols and Environmental Health & Safety rules
- Take adequate control measures to prevent injuries and protect the environment
