Job Description
Senior Video Editor leading AI-powered post-production for ASG, a media technology and operations provider. Creating social and corporate content while mentoring editors and optimizing workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the entire post-production lifecycle across multiple projects, from raw footage to polished deliverables
- Shape creative strategies into compelling video assets that exceed business objectives
- Maintain technical knowledge of platform-specific requirements and industry best practices
- Execute finishing, including color, audio, motion graphics, and brand packaging
- Automate post-production workflows with Google’s generative AI models
- Partner with creative, graphics, and production teams to turn feedback into standout stories
- Ensure visual assets are cohesive through innovative video templates and structural design
- Handle high-volume, time-sensitive workflows, provide proactive updates, and hit deadlines
- Mentor junior editors and foster a collaborative, growth-minded environment
Requirements:
- 7–10 years of experience editing advertising, commercial, or digital content for agencies, brands, or digital newsrooms
- Comprehensive expertise in social and corporate content, with a polished portfolio
- Pro-level command of Adobe Premiere Pro
- Deep skills in Avid and the Adobe Creative Suite
- Advanced technical knowledge of platform-optimized content, including ratios, compression, and safe zones
- Demonstrated creativity leveraging Google’s generative AI models: Nano Banana, Veo, and Flow
- Mastery of editing fundamentals: narrative, pacing, music, and grabbing attention in three seconds or less
- Experience with Adobe After Effects and Photoshop, plus creative video templates
- Understanding of live streaming and digital content production
- Familiarity with B2B marketing and the broader digital marketing sphere
- Exceptional communication and creative problem-solving skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship requirement addressed in application
