Job Description

Software Developer L3 building software for Ncontracts, a risk management and compliance solutions provider serving over 5,000 financial institutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high quality software delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Build software as part of a cross functional team alongside other developers, designers, product management, and QA
  • Help to break down work, maintaining strong communication with your teammates about the work you are doing
  • Hold yourself and your teammates accountable for creating high quality, useful software to our customers
  • Exhibit intentional mentorship, honesty, low ego, instinctive troubleshooting, deep curiosity, and motivation

Requirements:

  • Expertise in one or more of the following languages and their common frameworks: .NET Core / .NET Framework, and C#, .NET MVC & Web API, React or similar frameworks like Vue.js or Angular
  • Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools and modern development practices
  • Experience in cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
  • Understanding of API Security and OAuth
  • Familiarity with distributed version control systems like Git
  • Solid understanding of SQL best practices
  • Experience writing unit tests
  • Experience building and working with CI/CD pipelines with an understanding of PowerShell.
  • Experience giving and receiving code reviews, both live and written.
  • It is helpful for you to have at least some of the following:
  • Experience working in horizontally scaling systems
  • Experience in or knowledge of message/event driven architecture patterns and distributed systems architecture
  • Familiarity with systems integration
  • Experience working with an integrated design team
  • An automation mindset
