Job Description

Software Sales Executive driving sales success for Public Library Software solutions. Collaborating with stakeholders and generating leads to surpass sales targets in the US market.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales success by identifying prospects, generating leads, making sales calls, and managing the entire sales cycle.
  • Connect with a diverse range of stakeholders, from executive leadership to operational staff.
  • Address workflow challenges, align product benefits to specific needs, and define commercial terms.
  • Generate new leads through prospecting and networking, including cold calling.
  • Collaborate with Clarivate Academic and Government Account Managers on opportunities.
  • Influences and motivates others in a matrixed sales organization to support and drive towards shared goals.
  • Focus on new business as part of expanding the Ex Libris/Clarivate teaching and learning software product portfolio.
  • Fosters client satisfaction and ensures issue resolution with colleagues in customer support and success as relevant.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of sales experience as an individual contributor in selling SaaS applications.
  • Knowledge of enterprise sales and qualification methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPIN, Solution.
  • Proven sales track record with deal sizes $25k-$250k.
  • Excellent negotiation, verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint).
