Job Description
Mainframe Tech Lead responsible for analysis, design, development, and deployment of system releases at CVS Health. Collaborating within Agile teams to ensure application stability and performance.
Responsibilities:
- responsible for the analysis, design, development, and deployment of critical integrated system releases
- ensure delivery of business value and stability of production applications
- work in an Agile scrum team environment
- collaborate with business partners, product owners, architecture and other IT partners
- responsible for code deliverables on both long and short-term projects
- create and maintain documentation related to mainframe applications
- monitor systems to ensure proper functioning
- analyze and optimize applications; troubleshoot and resolve issues
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience with mainframe development and support
- technologies: COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, SQL, MQ, Xpeditor, Endevor or similar source control application
- systems analysis
- software design principles and software architecture
- agile delivery methodologies
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- ability to manage changing priorities
- ability to multitask effectively
- ability to work in a team environment
- being a self-starter
- 5+ years of experience with large-scale offshore vendor support arrangements
- 5+ years of healthcare experience in Claim Adjudication, Claim Payment/Banking, Electronic Funds Transfer
