Job Description
Strategic account leader growing SPAN’s solar and storage installer partnerships. Driving revenue, joint programs, forecasting, and product adoption for residential electrification solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue contribution from SPAN’s largest solar and storage partners
- Manage task execution, training and sales enablement, marketing and events, product/program roadmap alignment, and strategic initiatives
- Serve as the primary partnership contact and maintain trusted partner relationships
- Understand partner needs and deliver customized energy management solutions that grow the partner’s business
- Develop fluency with partner operations, reporting structure, and strategic priorities
- Lead regular QBRs and EBRs with partner counterparts and leadership
- Track partnership performance across markets, products, and use cases
- Steer activation priorities and resourcing
- Define and execute joint programs, promotions, and offerings
- Integrate joint initiatives into partner commercial operations
- Represent partner priorities and feedback to SPAN Product
- Coordinate joint roadmaps, release timelines, and launch plans
- Maximize training and activation events across the partner’s field sales organization
- Prioritize markets, events, and messaging with leadership and measure sales and conversion impact
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, meet or exceed account quota, and monitor financial performance
- Manage operational cadence across forecasts, orders, deliveries, and inventory
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Marketing, and Finance
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in strategic account management, channel partnerships, or B2B sales/operations with contractors in the solar & storage or broader home services industry
- Demonstrated ability to manage a large, complex partner account, balancing forecasting, order management, program execution, and relationship management
- Comfort working with corporate leaders, cross-functional teams, regional stakeholders, and field-level stakeholders at a large national organization
- Strong commercial instincts, analytical skills, and operational skills
- Strong technical aptitude with experience selling or supporting hardware and software solutions
- Ability to build and execute joint program roadmaps and engage key stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment
- Proven track record of working effectively with Product, Operations, Marketing, and other stakeholders
- Proficient in Salesforce CRM, including sales forecasting, account management, and opportunity management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive mindset and attitude, strong team-player orientation, and passion for scaling residential energy management solutions
- Up to 50% travel may be required
- Bonus: Experience working for a product manufacturer in renewables or HVAC markets in a two-step distribution sales model
- Bonus: Experience managing a top-tier or flagship account within a larger channel or partnerships organization
