Job Description

Supply Chain & Procurement Intern supporting global supply chain operations at Jabil. Gaining experience in supply chain management and procurement responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities, supplier consolidation potential, and process inefficiencies.
  • Conduct market research to benchmark pricing, identify trends, and evaluate supplier capabilities.
  • Support the evaluation, onboarding, and management of suppliers, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and ESG objectives.
  • Assist in developing and executing sourcing strategies to drive cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
  • Prepare and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs) or Requests for Information (RFIs) to identify optimal supplier solutions.
  • Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and procurement performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements within the procurement lifecycle.
  • Assist in ensuring procurement activities align with regulatory and organizational policies.

Requirements:

  • Currently a Rising Junior or Rising Senior pursuing a Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • GPA: Min 3.0
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data analysis).
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning about global supply chains and manufacturing processes.
  • Prior experience or coursework related to supply chain, procurement, or operations is a plus.
  • Availability: Must be available to work from May 18, 2026– Aug 7, 2026.
