Job Description
Current Product Engineer maintaining and enhancing product quality and reliability at Proofpoint. Involves debugging, customer support, and feedback to development teams.
Responsibilities:
- Build and enhance our proven security platform
- Blend innovation and speed in a constantly evolving cloud environment
- Analyze new threats and offer deep insight through data-driven intel
- Collaborate with customers to help solve their toughest security challenges
Requirements:
- 4+ years of development experience in Python or NodeJS is preferred
- Experience in debugging production issues is a must
- Expertise in public cloud compute and networking, with hands-on experience in at least one of the following: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Proven experience with REST API-driven automation using Python or JavaScript.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Adaptability and a keen interest in staying current with new technologies and evolving industry trends.
- Understanding of github and experience with CI/CD pipelines, including the setup and management of automated build, test, and deployment workflows
- Prior experience in testing SaaS security products is a plus
- Experience in debugging complex products, and building monitoring dashboards is preferred
