Job Description
Remote talent acquisition and HR specialist recruiting caregivers and nurses for a home care provider. Supporting interviews, onboarding, scheduling, and HR administration.
Responsibilities:
- Source qualified caregivers, nurses, and other healthcare candidates.
- Review and manage applicants from platforms such as Indeed and CareerPlug.
- Screen applicants and conduct initial or first-round interviews.
- Present qualified candidates to the client and their team.
- Participate in final interviews when needed.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified caregivers to support staffing needs, especially during periods of increased staffing needs.
- Assist with new-hire onboarding and caregiver orientation.
- Provide scheduling support during slower recruitment periods.
- Support the scheduler, HR team, and care coordinator with administrative tasks.
- Handle administrative duties as capacity allows.
- Assist with phone calls, outreach, emails, and calendar-related tasks when recruitment volume is lower.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of healthcare recruitment experience, including candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing, particularly with caregivers or nurses, is strongly preferred.
- Experience using recruitment platforms such as Indeed and CareerPlug is preferred.
- Experience supporting onboarding and orientation.
- Strong English communication, interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with HR and operations teams.
- Flexible and comfortable supporting scheduling and administrative tasks when recruitment volume is lower.
- Reliable availability during the required EST work hours.
- Experience working with Canadian or North American companies is preferred.
- Must be comfortable working with the video/camera turned on as needed.
- Must speak and write English clearly and professionally.
- Must have relevant work experience.
- Must be able to provide an NBI Clearance and/or Local Police Clearance before onboarding (mandatory).
- Must be available to attend video meetings with camera on when required.
- Reliable laptop or desktop computer.
- Stable high-speed internet connection, minimum 25 Mbps.
- Noise-canceling headset.
- Working webcam for virtual meetings.
