Job Description
Tech Lead position managing a technology team at a Brazilian fintech focused on credit solutions. Responsibilities include leadership, goal setting, and performance evaluation.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading, motivating and managing the team, ensuring all members work efficiently and collaboratively;
- Define goals and objectives: work closely with other team leaders to set clear goals and measurable objectives for the team;
- Guide and coach the team: help the team develop technical and behavioral skills, providing mentorship and training when needed;
- Review functional deliverables: responsible for ensuring that what the team delivers meets the functional expectations of the request, through code reviews or process reviews;
- Identify and resolve issues: responsible for identifying and addressing quality, productivity or collaboration problems within the team;
- Communicate with other teams and leaders: work closely with other team leaders and project stakeholders to ensure the team is aligned with project and company needs;
- Ensure deliveries meet expected timelines and quality: responsible for ensuring the team's deliveries comply with project schedules and requirements and meet expected quality standards.
Requirements:
- Strong technical skills and high-level mastery of relevant technologies;
- Experience developing applications with Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot;
- Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle/Postgres);
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and microservices communication;
- Experience in object-oriented programming and applying Design Patterns;
- Experience with a cloud service provider (AWS);
- Knowledge of Software Quality practices;
- Knowledge of Secure Development practices;
- Knowledge of testing (TDD, BDD, Integration, E2E).
