Job Description
Tech Lead leading development team, building applications with TypeScript and Next.js. Collaborating on architectural decisions and ensuring quality practices in a remote setup.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development team technically, supporting architectural decisions and defining engineering best practices.
- Develop and maintain modern applications using TypeScript and Next.js.
- Define and evolve architectures based on microservices and distributed systems.
- Implement and advance solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Manage and support the orchestration of applications in Kubernetes environments.
- Establish and improve observability, monitoring, and performance analysis practices for applications.
- Work with messaging and asynchronous processing using Kafka.
- Model, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases.
- Ensure code quality, testing, security, and performance standards.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and operations teams to ensure efficient deliveries.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in development with TypeScript.
- Experience with Next.js or modern front-end/fullstack frameworks.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with Kubernetes and containers.
- Knowledge and practice in application observability and monitoring.
- Experience with Kafka or other messaging/event streaming solutions.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and data modeling.
- Previous experience in technical leadership or mentoring development teams.
- Knowledge of distributed systems architecture and software engineering best practices.
