Job Description

Technical Adoption Manager helping federal customers adopt VMware multi-cloud and virtualization solutions. Guiding enterprise adoption, success planning, roadmaps, and outcome-focused technical engagements.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to assigned enterprise customers and drive a unified customer experience
  • Guide customers through onboarding, adoption, and realization of business value across the customer journey
  • Articulate customer business objectives and desired outcomes and craft joint Success Plans
  • Identify customer goals, gaps, and structured engagement plans
  • Conduct technology assessments, roadmap reviews, deployment guidance, best-practices reviews, and day-two operations guidance
  • Identify use cases and prescribe Adoption Guidance and Workshops to increase adoption and consumption
  • Present customer achievements and progress through Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Communicate VMware solutions across customer levels, including CxO personnel
  • Map VMware solutions to customers’ business and technical requirements
  • Deliver technology roadmaps, assessments, solution guidance, best-practices reviews, and operational optimization
  • Provide industry insights and benchmarking to reduce costs and operational risk
  • Collaborate with VMware consultants, engineers, product management, support, Customer Success, Global Support, Education, Professional Services, Development, and Sales teams
  • Track customer plans, adjust them as needed, and drive completion
  • Contribute customer experiences and best practices to the global TAM community

Requirements:

  • Top Secret security clearance with polygraph required
  • 12+ years of related experience
  • Proven work experience in customer-facing positions, such as TAM, Solution Engineer, technology consultant, IT vendor, professional services organization, or IT team
  • Experience with enterprise-level virtualization
  • Tenured expertise with VMware multi-cloud products, including Infrastructure SDDC (vSphere, VCF, VVF), Cloud Environment (Cloud services, VMC/AWS, vCloud Director), Network Virtualization (NSX), or Automation/Monitoring (VCF Operations Manager, VCF Automation)
  • Ability to map VMware solutions to unique customer business and technical requirements
  • Organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to present and communicate effectively and build relationships with CxO-level personnel
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant years of experience in lieu of a degree may be considered
