Job Description

Technology Sales Consultant driving Ricoh hardware, software, and services revenue through dealer networks. Influencing sales teams, expanding market share, and delivering digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and execute growth initiatives and shelf-space wins with assigned dealers
  • Drive digital sales value and impact Ricoh sales results with mid-size to large dealers
  • Influence dealer sales organizations and build connections across multiple dealers or locations
  • Create and facilitate customized programs, training, and field-based activities
  • Engage in dealer sales activities and differentiate Ricoh offerings from competitors
  • Deploy creative and non-traditional methods in the digital sales environment
  • Promote a solutions-oriented approach to Ricoh’s digital sales portfolio
  • Build strategic relationships with dealer ownership, sales leadership, and representatives
  • Lead joint planning processes focused on growth, ZBA, and shelf-space growth
  • Support Ricoh’s growth and digital transformation objectives while aligning with dealer goals
  • Travel up to 50% for dealer negotiations, business planning, sales meetings, and customer account calls
  • Demonstrate and promote Ricoh hardware and software solutions
  • Monitor dealer succession plans and participate in acquisition planning
  • Facilitate resources from adjacent Ricoh groups to provide solutions support
  • Achieve territory gross-profit growth targets through profitable dealer revenue
  • Secure aftermarket targets by managing growth and compliance of Ricoh parts and supplies purchases
  • Work with dealer sales executives from prospect selection and research through proof of concept and closing

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree stated in the job profile
  • Strong selling and presentation skills
  • Proven knowledge dealing with complex sales including hardware, software, and advanced solutions
  • Ability to consult dealer principals regarding company management
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a professional, team-oriented environment
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to present to high-level executives, internal and external customers, and diverse audiences
  • Strong self-direction, initiative, and results orientation
  • Proficiency in visual communications, CRM, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Superior time management skills
  • Strong listening and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently from a home office or in a team environment when in an office location
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and convey diverse information
  • Moderate dexterity and regular application of basic skills
  • Personal vehicle
  • Ability to travel up to 50% and visit dealers once per month
