Job Description
Contract telemedicine physician delivering virtual diagnosis, treatment, and medication management for ADHD and related mental-health conditions. Serving adult and pediatric patients remotely across the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient appointments via secure video conferencing
- Develop tailored treatment plans for ADHD, anxiety, depression, and binge eating disorders
- Prescribe and manage medications
- Educate patients about medication side effects and interactions
- Track patient progress through regular follow-ups
- Adjust care plans as needed
- Maintain precise, timely medical records
- Handle prescription refills and inquiries promptly
- Partner with fellow providers to ensure integrated, high-quality care
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and comply with telemedicine regulations and employment laws
- Report quality issues promptly
- Attend required training on mental health advancements
Requirements:
- Licensed to practice in Missouri
- Valid DEA license in Missouri and applicable state controlled substance license(s)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Minimum of 3+ years in mental health specializing in ADHD, anxiety, depression, and binge eating across adult and pediatric populations, or minimum of 5+ years in primary care
- Expert-level use of DSM-5 and assessment tools such as GAD-7 and PHQ-9
- Proficiency with EHR systems
- Strong understanding of state-specific telemedicine regulations
- Compassionate, high-EQ communication skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving telehealth environment
- Graduation from an accredited U.S. medical school or foreign medical school with ECFMG certification
- MD or DO required
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Psychiatry
- Board certified or board eligible, if applicable
- Current, unrestricted state medical license
- Private, secure, sterile work environment free from external noise
- Reliable internet connection
- Desktop computer, laptop, and/or tablet for video visits
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods and manual dexterity to operate a computer
- Strict HIPAA compliance and adherence to Mentavi Health privacy policies
