Job Description
Territory Account Manager driving long-acting HIV prevention sales for ViiV Healthcare in Fort Lauderdale. Partnering with healthcare professionals to expand treatment access and achieve territory growth.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, target, and win new business by influencing HCPs to adopt a new approach to HIV treatment
- Engage HCPs, nurses, staff, and administrators to understand clinical, organizational, and financial challenges and opportunities within target accounts
- Use data analytics, business acumen, and market expertise to identify high-priority prospects
- Prepare and execute tailored business plans that help HCPs scale treatment models to reach more patients
- Coordinate with Clinical Nurse Educators, Field Reimbursement Managers, and other cross-functional team members
- Maintain a portfolio-based selling mindset and ensure cohesive, integrated customer experiences
- Provide proactive customer service by anticipating and addressing HCP problems, needs, and requests
- Adapt execution plans to achieve performance goals using KPIs, scaling successes, and business problem-solving
- Develop and foster relationships with influential customers and thought leaders
- Act consistently with ViiV's culture, expectations, and values
- Embrace ambiguity in a launch environment and learn from setbacks
- Escalate issues and risks when needed and speak up
- Follow key compliance and regulatory guidelines
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience
- 3+ years of specialty experience
- Ability to travel domestically as necessary, including possible overnight travel
- Majority of time spent in market
- Valid driver's license
- Strong planning and organization skills
- Analytical ability and business acumen
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally in a matrixed environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in complex market access coverage situations
- Experience working with HCPs to procure, manage, and administer cold chain treatment products
- Knowledge of HIV treatment and/or prevention markets
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required
- Experience partnering cross-functionally within an integrated account team model
