Job Description
Sportsbook Trader managing pricing, content, and risk for Hard Rock Digital’s online sportsbook. Monitoring U.S. sports markets and live events to maximize profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Report directly to a Trading Team Lead
- Manage sportsbook content, pricing, and risk
- Monitor pre-event and live sports events
- Analyse market movements
- Apply price and risk management strategies
- Ensure trading activity aligns with internal risk controls, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards
- Identify market trends
- Optimize sportsbook performance and maximize profitability
Requirements:
- Genuine passion for U.S. sports
- Prior experience working in a sportsbook trading or pricing environment
- Strong understanding of sportsbook operations and betting mechanics
- Experience working in a trading room or similar environment
- Keen attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
- Willingness to learn, grow, and adapt in a constantly evolving market
- Data-led mindset and ability to interpret, analyse, and act on quantitative information
- Passion for U.S. sports, including NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NCAAF, and NCAAB
- Awareness of current betting trends
- Ability to make decisions quickly and accurately in a fast-paced setting
