Job Description
Vice President of Clinical Software Engineering at Availity leading technology direction for healthcare engagement platform. Responsible for building high-performing engineering teams and driving impactful outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Define and drive a clear engineering vision and execution strategy
- Establish and own a focused, outcome‑driven roadmap
- Lead high velocity execution to ensure meaningful outcomes
- Provide strong architectural leadership
- Own technical stewardship of cloud‑native (AWS) platforms
- Build, lead, and develop high‑performing engineering leadership teams
- Evaluate and evolve organizational structure to improve alignment
- Partner closely with Product, Data, and AI leaders
- Set and reinforce standards for technical excellence
Requirements:
- Proven engineering leadership at scale
- Demonstrated ability to drive execution at high velocity
- Strong technical and architectural judgment
- Experience operating in messy, inherited environments
- Track record of building and leading high‑performing engineering teams
- Comfort making decisions with incomplete information
