Job Description
Executive Planning Consultant advising Fidelity Workplace executives on personalized financial planning, retirement strategies, investments, and asset management. Building executive relationships and expanding high-net-worth client assets.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor to senior executives and C-suite leaders within key Workplace benefit plan clients
- Act as primary relationship manager for a select group of executives
- Provide personalized financial planning, retirement income strategies, investment guidance, and asset management support
- Integrate workplace benefits and plan provisions into comprehensive financial plans
- Deliver ongoing consultation and relationship management to support outstanding client experience
- Collaborate with managing directors, relationship managers, and executive services associates
- Drive client engagement, business growth, and client satisfaction
- Present executive services offerings during business reviews
- Cultivate new opportunities through referrals, seminars, and local events
- Identify strategies to increase assets under management and expand client relationships
Requirements:
- Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required
- Ability to obtain an insurance license within six months of hire
- Bachelor's degree required
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation preferred
- Completion of CEP Level 1 certification within the first 12 months of employment is strongly encouraged
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in face-to-face investment sales and financial planning
- Proven track record of sales success within the financial services industry
- Experience working with senior executives and employee benefit plans
- Demonstrated success developing new business and managing relationships with high-net-worth clients
- Strong ability to assess clients' unique financial needs and recommend tailored investment and planning solutions
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%
- Comprehensive knowledge of brokerage services, insurance products, investment management, estate planning, financial planning, and retirement planning
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strategic thinking and ability to influence and advise executive-level decision-makers
- Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills in one-on-one and group settings
- Strong territory management capabilities and ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously
