Job Description

VP Finance leading FP&A, performance analysis, and value creation for DISA’s global safety and compliance business. Partnering with the CFO and senior leaders while developing a dispersed finance team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead DISA’s FP&A function, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis
  • Provide visibility into business performance, outlook, opportunities, risks, revenue, profitability, and operational drivers
  • Deliver decision-oriented reporting to the CFO and senior leadership team
  • Evaluate business cases and growth initiatives using financial and ROI analysis
  • Partner with commercial and operational leaders to improve decision-making and performance
  • Translate complex financial and operational data into actionable insights
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, EBITDA, and cash flow
  • Support the CFO, strategic priorities, and value-creation plan
  • Provide financial insight into growth opportunities, product and service performance, and strategic investments
  • Support Board-level reporting
  • Maintain transaction-ready financial planning, analysis, and reporting for a potential future exit
  • Lead and develop a geographically dispersed finance team of approximately 18 people through senior managers and finance leaders
  • Build a connected, accountable, communicative, and collaborative remote-team culture
  • Evolve the finance function toward best-in-class business partnering and decision support
  • Develop and empower senior team members while maintaining a hands-on ownership culture
  • Travel to engage senior leaders, support business partnering, participate in strategic planning, and maintain visibility into performance and growth initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required
  • MBA or relevant professional designation (CPA, CFA) is strongly preferred
  • Extensive FP&A leadership within fast-paced, performance-driven environments
  • Experience operating in high-growth or private-equity-backed settings
  • Background in B2B services with operational complexity, multiple products or service lines, and a strong revenue-growth orientation
  • Proven ability to lead and develop large finance teams, including managing through senior managers and finance leaders
  • Strong P&L ownership and ability to interpret commercial, operational, and financial drivers
  • Exceptional business partnering skills and experience influencing commercial and operational leaders
  • Ability to evaluate growth opportunities, investments, and resource allocation through an ROI and value-creation lens
  • Outstanding communication abilities for senior leadership and Board audiences
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed or remote teams is beneficial
  • Experience supporting transactions or M&A is beneficial but not required
  • Ability to travel regularly, averaging approximately 25%
