Job Description
Market Vice President overseeing Towne’s parking and hospitality market performance. Driving operations, client retention, staffing, and business development across Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., or Baltimore.
Responsibilities:
- Direct activities and priorities of district managers and market support team members to maximize productivity and profitability
- Maintain knowledge of operational requirements and business reporting procedures
- Ensure policies, procedures, and reporting comply throughout the market
- Train and coach district managers, HR staff, and market support team members
- Drive business metrics and performance measurements
- Assess and improve work processes for functionality, effectiveness, and efficiency
- Ensure teams meet client, associate, and company expectations
- Establish and maintain associate, client, and potential client relationships
- Identify business development opportunities and develop market growth strategies
- Present and sell Towne Park services to potential and existing clients
- Partner with sales managers on prospecting action plans and follow up on leads and referrals
- Build local community business relationships
- Nurture client relationships to drive satisfaction, retention, and promotion
- Prepare for and conduct quarterly client meetings
- Manage the market plan for achieving client promoter status
- Analyze labor trends and staffing levels and forecast workforce needs
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment initiatives
- Recruit and develop management talent for growth and succession planning
- Direct HR and training staff and evaluate training program effectiveness
- Execute management training and development programs
- Identify high-potential employees and prepare them for additional responsibility
- Ensure adherence to pay, timekeeping, benefits, progressive discipline, rewards, and other policies
- Address associate concerns and support diversity and inclusion
Requirements:
- Must be located in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, or Baltimore
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
- Nine (9) years of operations management experience OR equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Previous P&L and income statement responsibility for a multi-unit organization
- Extensive knowledge in sales, employment practices, and business development
- Ability to plan, set priorities, and manage complex projects simultaneously under pressure
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude
- Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in significant company matters
- Ability to represent the company effectively and appreciate diverse cultures
- Ability to read and interpret business policies, procedures, equipment manuals, training materials, and corporate communications
- Ability to compose professional internal and external business communications
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Ability to perform the stated physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
