Job Description
English-to-Swedish video game translator for Testronic, a games and entertainment QA and technology services provider. Translating game content, marketing materials, and proofreading localization work.
Responsibilities:
- Translate video game content, both full-titles and game updates, sometimes in cooperation with other Translators.
- Translate marketing texts and other promotional materials related to games.
- Proofread other Translators’ work to ensure the text is of the best quality.
Requirements:
- Native speaker of Swedish who is also a language enthusiast, passionate about linguistic and cultural nuances.
- Fluent English, allowing to communicate via email with PMs and to participate in a video interview with our Vendor Manager.
- Ability to issue invoices.
- Minimum of 6 months of translation experience in video games, board games or similar creative fields.
- Freelance registration recommended.
- Experience in subtitling and LQA would be beneficial.
