Job Description
Case Manager serving as the primary contact for families in the Special Education Tutoring program. Building trust, managing schedules, and ensuring student progress in a remote setting.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for a caseload of families — building trust, answering questions, and being their go-to contact
- Conduct intake calls with new families and set expectations clearly and confidently
- Build and manage class schedules across multiple students, teachers, and platforms
- Communicate proactively with families about scheduling, progress, and any concerns — via phone, video, and written correspondence
- Monitor student progress and flag concerns to the appropriate specialist
- Coordinate with instructors to ensure sessions run smoothly
- Navigate multiple software systems daily (scheduling platforms, spreadsheets, video conferencing, CRM/case management tools) without missing a beat
- Represent Tutor Me Education professionally in every interaction — you are often the face of the company to our families
- Support basic oversight of IEP/504 accommodation compliance (full training provided — deep SPED expertise not required)
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills — required, and heavily assessed in our interview process
- Reliable high-speed internet, a working webcam, and a headset/microphone for virtual meetings
- Comfortable learning and using multiple software platforms (Google Workspace/Microsoft Office required; scheduling and CRM tools trained on the job)
- Prior experience in a remote/virtual role strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Customer service, account management, or client-facing experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
- **Some experience in an educational setting required** (school, tutoring, or similar) — experience with special education, IEPs, or students with disabilities is strongly preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
