Job Description

Government Account Executive leading business development within assigned territory for Granicus' Indigov CRM product suite. Fostering client relationships and driving sales in the public sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth and foster market expansion within an assigned geographic territory.
  • Take ownership of your assigned territory to plan and execute a go-to-market strategy.
  • Craft and communicate compelling value propositions to prospective clients.
  • Guide and educate prospects through the evaluation and procurement journey.
  • Build and deliver tailored client presentations (virtual and in-person).
  • Actively pursue leads generated through personal efforts and marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of all interactions in our Salesforce CRM system.
  • Prepare and deliver quarterly business reviews to Sales Management and peers.
  • Be prepared to travel up to 40% of the time to meet with clients and prospects.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience with public sector sales and procurement motions strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in business SaaS sales.
  • Proven track record of success selling complex solutions to government clients.
  • Effective Prospecting and Opportunity Management.
  • Proficient in CRM Utilization, including Salesforce.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of business principles and market dynamics.
