Job Description
Account Manager advising farms, ranches, and construction businesses through Ambrook’s accounting and financial tools. Improving customer books, insights, processes, and product features.
Responsibilities:
- Advise a portfolio of complex farms, ranches, construction companies, and other Full Service businesses
- Help customers turn varied financial data into clean books and actionable financial insights
- Support customers with onboarding and strategic financial decision-making
- Own end-to-end relationships for a portfolio of Full Service customers
- Untangle existing books and structure finances around customers’ target insights
- Identify and build product changes, process improvements, and internal tooling
- Surface customer-work patterns to Product, Design, and Engineering
- Help develop reports and analytical tools that scale across the customer base
- Shadow advisory calls and begin supporting a book of business
- Contribute to Ambrook’s mission of helping American family-run businesses become more profitable and resilient
Requirements:
- Strong bookkeeping or accounting background, including FP&A, tax, strategic finance, or startup finance experience
- Fluency in accounting concepts and their practical application across a variety of businesses
- Ability to explain accounting topics clearly to non-accounting audiences
- Patient, trust-building communication style
- Proactive attention to detail
- Comfort with the pace and intensity of a startup
- Curiosity about agriculture, family businesses, and the real economy
- Availability during typical business hours across US time zones
- Authorization to work in the United States for any employer
- No visa sponsorship requirement now or in the future
