Job Description
APJ Accounting Manager overseeing multi-country accounting operations for Recorded Future, a cyber threat intelligence company. Leading close, statutory reporting, audits, controls, cash flow, tax, and outsourced provider management.
Responsibilities:
- Own timely and accurate delivery of APJ month-end close
- Ensure reconciliations, journals, and schedules meet deadlines
- Present finalised outputs for Senior Manager review and approval
- Act as day-to-day point of contact for senior management and external providers
- Manage outsourced provider performance against SLAs and KPIs
- Resolve issues proactively and escalate where required
- Oversee preparation and submission of statutory financial statements
- Coordinate audits and ensure local compliance requirements are met
- Ensure compliance with local GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Manage the APJ Accountant
- Ensure clear prioritisation, accountability, and delivery standards
- Consolidate APJ intercompany positions and cash requirements
- Provide forward-looking visibility for the quarter plus 60 days
- Prepare recommendations on settlements and funding for Senior Manager review
- Review indirect tax returns and supporting workbooks
- Ensure accurate, complete, and timely submission via external partners
- Ensure adherence to SOX controls and documentation standards
- Drive process improvements and adoption of systems
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (CA/CPA/ACCA)
- Significant experience in multi-entity, multi-country accounting
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience
- Experience managing outsourced providers
- Strong understanding of SOX environments
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
