Job Description
Adjunct Faculty teaching Fundamentals of Computer Troubleshooting for UMGC, requiring a master's degree and CompTIA A+ certification. Engaging students and providing constructive feedback in remote learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Teach the course: Fundamentals of Computer Troubleshooting (CMIT 202).
- Evaluate, install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware components and operating systems.
- Engage students through frequent interaction that motivates them to succeed.
- Provide feedback on possible curricular improvements.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning.
- Must have an ACTIVE and CURRENT CompTIA A+ certification.
- Professional experience in Computer Networking and Security.
- Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is strongly preferred.
