Job Description

AEO Content Analyst at Geotab developing content strategies for AI metrics. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance visibility and sentiment online while leveraging analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Create content designed to positively influence LLM engines across key AI metrics like Visibility, Sentiment, and Citations.
  • Track performance and engagement of digital content, manage content performance dashboards, and perform regular content audits.
  • Lead the continuous improvement process of digital content guided by AI analytics tools and best practices.
  • Monitor user interactions to identify content gaps and misconceptions, and promptly address them through update processes.
  • Work closely with the SEO & Digital Experience lead to align AI content workflows with overarching SEO/AEO strategy and targeted keyword research.
  • Assist in AI-focused competitive analysis of competitor content online, monitoring performance and identifying countermeasures.
  • Train colleagues and partners on AI content best practices and create comprehensive documentation for standard operations procedures.
  • Work with the AI Data and Evaluation Analyst and AI Agent Engineer to develop specialized content agents for AEO.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience leveraging content tools and analytics platforms for performance analysis and implementing SEO/AEO best practices within content workflows.
  • Proven track record of managing and optimizing content within Content Management Systems (CMS) and/or Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in SEO & Digital Marketing, UX writing, Technical Writing, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Deep understanding of AEO principles, LLM information processing, and the impact of content on Visibility, Sentiment, and Citations.
  • Strong communication skills with previous experience training others or documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Conceptual understanding of RAG, tool/function calling, and multi-step workflows; familiarity with frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex is a strong plus.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% between local offices, including quarterly HQ visits and industry training.
