Job Description
AI Developer focusing on developing AI solutions for the insurance sector. This role involves Java and Python programming, with a heavy emphasis on LLMs and Generative AI.
Responsibilities:
- Technical implementation of software solutions with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence
- Object-oriented software development primarily in the Java ecosystem, supplemented by Python for implementing AI use cases
- Design and implementation of solutions in the area of LLMs and Generative AI, especially applying prompt engineering and RAG architectures
- Integration of frameworks such as LangChain or comparable technologies to optimize processes
- Processing and structuring of unstructured data sets
- Design and integration of interfaces (REST, OpenAPI) and connection of various services
- Work in modern, container-based cloud environments (Docker, Kubernetes / OpenShift)
- Ensuring the quality, traceability and performance of AI outputs
Requirements:
- Solid experience in Java development and knowledge of Python
- Practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and the development of RAG systems
- Confident use of modern cloud technologies and container orchestration
- Ideally: knowledge of vector databases, embeddings and document pipelines (OCR, chunking)
- Hands-on, result-oriented work style and the ability to quickly grasp complex domain contexts
- Clean documentation and the ability to seamlessly hand over deliverables
- Valid residence or work authorization in the EU, the EEA, Switzerland or the United Kingdom (UK)
