Job Description
Android Developer building and maintaining Nutrium’s nutrition platform used by over 100,000 monthly users. Delivering Kotlin-based features with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Nutrium’s Android app
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver high-quality, on-time product features
- Participate in the full feature lifecycle, from implementation to deployment and ongoing improvements
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Stay up to date with Android trends and tools and apply relevant learnings
- Participate in code reviews, discussions, and team rituals
- Help improve a mobile app used by over 100,000 users every month
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, and standard Android development tools
- Familiarity with common Android architectures such as MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture
- Experience integrating and working with RESTful APIs
- Experience working on Android applications that support multiple devices
- Familiarity with the Google Play Console and the app release process
- Experience with or interest in using Firebase tools and services
- Fluency in Portuguese and English
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced product environment
- Clear communication and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
- AI-native mindset and excitement about using intelligent tools in everyday work
- Being based in the north of Portugal is a plus, not a must
