Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the architecture of agentic systems and building the agent harness with orchestration, tool interfaces, sandboxing, permission model, state and memory management, subagents, and execution/tracing

- Building the data and retrieval layer from ingestion and normalization to vector and full-text indexes
- Measuring and improving retrieval quality
- Conducting evaluations on trajectories, regression testing for prompts and tools, and implementing guardrails
- Operating the systems with containerization, CI/CD and monitoring, as well as controlling latency and model costs
- Working with coding agents, evaluating models and frameworks, and co-deciding on the technology stack and on-premise deployment

- Clean, testable Python and TypeScript code
- Experience in API development with FastAPI or Node
- Daily work with coding agents
- Experience with systems under load, concurrency, queues, rate limits and distributed state
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD and deployments on AWS, Azure, GCP or on-premises servers
- Kubernetes and local GPU environments are a plus
- Experience with ETL and ELT pipelines, vector databases, evaluations, tracing and observability
- Awareness of latency and token cost considerations
- Ability to design GDPR-compliant architectures, including tenant isolation, secrets handling, rights for agent tools, and cloud/on-premise delineation
